# Setting up Call Recording

Call recordings are stored for 60 days.  You (and your customers) can download recordings any time prior to that for your own long-term storage if needed.

All recordings are stored in MP3 format with the highest available compression quality (without significant quality loss).
One minute of recording consumes about 120 kilobytes. Telinta customers receive 30 Gigabytes for free, enabling you to record up to an estimated 262,000 minutes or 4,366 hours.
